Mt. Ashland will come alive tonight as fireworks light up the night sky in celebration of Bavarian Night, an annual tradition that combines winter sports, community spirit, and fundraising for a great cause.
The festivities begin at 3:00 p.m. and continue through 9:00 p.m., featuring the highly anticipated Torch Light Parade, a dazzling fireworks display, and various activities designed to bring together ski enthusiasts and local families. A major highlight of the event is an online raffle benefitting the Mt. Ashland Ski Patrol, a volunteer organization dedicated to ensuring safety on the slopes.
The raffle, which is currently live, offers participants the chance to win an array of valuable prizes, including a Mt. Ashland Gold Pass, a Scenic Timberland Helicopter Ride for Two, a $500 shopping spree at Rogue Ski Shop, a two-night stay at Weisinger Family Winery Vineyard Cottage, and an Annual Family Pass to Rogue Rock Gym, among many others. The raffle will close at 10:00 p.m. on February 15, allowing attendees and supporters to contribute to the ski patrol’s essential operations while vying for exciting rewards.
Bavarian Night has long been a favorite winter event for locals and visitors alike, bringing together skiing, entertainment, and philanthropy. The Torch Light Parade, a visually striking spectacle where skiers and snowboarders descend the slopes carrying torches, is a highlight of the evening, leading up to a fireworks show that will illuminate the mountain under the winter sky.
Event organizers encourage the community to come out, enjoy the evening, and support the dedicated volunteers of the Mt. Ashland Ski Patrol, who work tirelessly to provide safety and assistance to winter sports enthusiasts.
