Grants Pass School District 7 has once again captured the holiday spirit with its fifth annual Holiday Card Art Contest, a much-anticipated tradition that highlights the creativity and talent of local students. The event invites students from all grade levels to design unique holiday cards that celebrate the season through artistic expression.
This year, the contest attracted 29 imaginative submissions, showcasing a wide range of mediums such as pencil, paint, and marker. Each piece reflected the joy, beauty, and warmth of winter and the holidays, making the selection process both exciting and challenging.
District-Level Winners
After careful deliberation by a judging panel that included members of the Board of Education, Superintendent, printshop designers, and district staff, the following students were named district-level winners for their outstanding designs:

The community also had a voice in selecting the top designs through the People’s Choice category, with nearly 500 votes cast. The winners of this special recognition are:

Next Steps and Community Impact
The winning designs will now be printed and made available for purchase, turning these students’ artistic visions into tangible holiday cards to share with friends and family.
