Exciting news for winter sports enthusiasts: Mt. Ashland Ski Resort has announced the early opening of its 24/25 Winter Season! The season will kick off with a special Passholder Appreciation Day on Friday, December 6, 2024, giving season passholders exclusive access to the slopes. The resort will then open to all guests starting Saturday, December 7, 2024, with the Sonnet, Comer, and Windsor lifts running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Single-day lift tickets will be available for purchase beginning Saturday, December 7. Season passholders on Friday will also enjoy an added perk—be among the first 100 guests on the Windsor lift and receive a complimentary 24/25 Winter Season neck gaiter.
This season promises to be one of the most exciting in decades, featuring significant upgrades and the debut of Lithia Chair, Mt. Ashland’s first new chairlift in over 30 years. The Lithia Chairlift is a monumental addition to the resort, made possible through the generosity of Sid and Karen DeBoer and the Sid and Karen DeBoer Foundation. A grand opening announcement for the new chairlift is expected soon.
On Opening Day, visitors can take advantage of the resort’s full range of services, including lessons, equipment rentals, the retail shop, and dining at the T-Bar and Gemütlichkeit Grill.
“We are thrilled to welcome our guests for another incredible season,” said the resort team in their announcement. “This early opening and the exciting new additions are our way of making this season unforgettable for everyone.”
Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a first-timer, Mt. Ashland promises a fantastic start to the 24/25 winter season. Mark your calendars, pack your gear, and get ready for an unforgettable time on the slopes!
