Mt. Ashland Ski Area is rolling into spring with two exciting announcements that promise to enhance the guest experience both on and off the slopes: the launch of a brand-new mobile app and the opening of its 2025/26 Spring Season Pass Sale.
The ski area, which is owned and operated by the nonprofit Mt. Ashland Association, unveiled its new mobile app this week, available now for iOS and Android devices through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Designed to be a digital companion for skiers and snowboarders, the app provides users with a wide range of tools and live information to make planning and enjoying a day on the mountain easier and more interactive than ever before.
“This app is all about elevating the experience for our guests,” said Andrew Gast, General Manager of Mt. Ashland. “Whether you’re checking snow conditions, buying lift tickets, or ordering food from your phone, everything you need for an amazing day on the slopes is now just a tap away.”
Among the app’s most notable features are real-time mountain updates, including lift and terrain statuses, grooming reports, and webcam feeds. It also includes live weather forecasts, customizable notifications based on user preferences, and the ability to track personal skiing and snowboarding stats throughout the day. Guests can even connect with friends on the mountain to share their day’s adventures.
The app offers seamless integration with Mt. Ashland’s services, making it easy to purchase lift tickets, lessons, rentals, and passes directly from a smartphone. A standout convenience is the new mobile food ordering option, allowing guests to place an order from anywhere on the mountain and pick it up at the Karen & Sid DeBoer Lodge without missing a run.
This technological upgrade arrives just as Mt. Ashland launches its Spring Season Pass Sale for the 2025/26 winter season. Between April 1 and April 30, 2025, returning and new passholders can save up to $200 on their pass purchase. Added benefits include unlimited access to the mountain throughout the upcoming season, entrance to Twilight Hour skiing, discounts on Uphill Access Passes, and free or discounted tickets at participating partner resorts. A five-month, interest-free payment plan is available during the sale period to make season access more affordable.
For first-time pass buyers, Mt. Ashland is sweetening the deal by offering 25% off daily lift tickets for the remainder of the current 2024/25 season when purchasing a 2025/26 pass during the spring sale. And for those looking to get in a few more turns this year, Mt. Ashland has extended its season with two bonus weekends: April 19–20 and April 26–27. While operations during these bonus weekends will be limited, lift tickets will be discounted to $40 for adults and $30 for youth aged 7–12. Children under 7 can ski or ride for free.
As a nonprofit organization operating under a special use permit from the U.S. Forest Service, Mt. Ashland remains committed to its mission of providing healthy alpine recreation to the Rogue Valley community and beyond. With the introduction of its mobile app and a robust season pass program, Mt. Ashland is making it easier than ever for outdoor enthusiasts to stay connected, informed, and inspired—on and off the mountain.
