Club Northwest will celebrate two major statewide recognitions with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony and Member Appreciation Day on Friday, July 24, bringing members, employees, guests and community representatives together for a midday celebration in Grants Pass.
The ribbon cutting will begin at noon in partnership with the Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce. The ceremony will recognize Club Northwest’s inclusion in Oregon’s 100 Best Companies to Work For and the 100 Greenest Workplaces in Oregon for 2026.
Both honors will be celebrated during the event, with Club Northwest crediting its members and employees for helping the organization reach the milestone. The recognition places the Grants Pass fitness and wellness club among businesses acknowledged at the state level for the quality of their workplaces and their attention to environmentally responsible operations.
The July 24 gathering is not being held to mark the opening of a new business or facility. Instead, the ribbon cutting will serve as a formal community celebration of the two 2026 honors and the people whose participation and work contributed to them.
Club Northwest has made the occasion part of its Member Appreciation Day, giving members an opportunity to celebrate the achievement while also introducing friends and family members to the club. Each member may bring one guest free of charge, and complimentary guest access will be available throughout the day.
The event will combine the Chamber ceremony with several casual summer activities intended to make the celebration open and welcoming for participants of different ages. A backyard waterslide will be available during the day, and light snacks will be served during the ribbon cutting.
The dual recognition gives Club Northwest two separate achievements to commemorate. Its selection among Oregon’s 100 Best Companies to Work For acknowledges the organization’s standing as an employer, while its placement among the 100 Greenest Workplaces in Oregon recognizes its workplace environmental efforts. Receiving both honors during the same year provides the foundation for the July community celebration.
For members, the occasion offers more than a formal presentation. It is also a day to use the club, bring a guest at no cost and take part in an event recognizing the community that has grown around Club Northwest.
