In response to dangerously low temperatures, an inclement weather shelter will open its doors from January 11th to January 13th. Operating from 5 PM to 9 AM, this shelter offers a warm, safe space for anyone seeking refuge from the cold. All are welcome to attend.
This initiative highlights the incredible generosity of the local community, whose unwavering support continues to make efforts like this possible. “We are so fortunate to live in such a caring and giving area,” organizers said, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of kindness.
Community members who wish to contribute can help in several ways. A meal train has been established to provide hot dinners and breakfasts for shelter guests. Donations of winter essentials such as gloves, hats, hand warmers, and other warming items are also being accepted to help those in need stay warm during this challenging weather.
“This is a chance for all of us to come together and make a real difference,” organizers said. “Your continued generosity is what keeps this effort alive.”
