Grants Pass residents are being advised of upcoming street sweeping operations scheduled for the week of August 24, 2025. The City of Grants Pass Public Works Department will carry out the work between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on designated days throughout the week.
The city is requesting residents to assist the effort by removing vehicles and trash bins from the streets during scheduled sweeping times. Doing so allows crews to access curb lines fully and ensures a more thorough cleaning process. The city emphasized that cooperation from residents plays an important role in the effectiveness of street maintenance.
Officials noted that while every effort will be made to maintain the posted schedule, changes may occur due to weather conditions. Inclement weather can delay or alter planned sweeping operations, and the city has committed to providing updates should the schedule need to be adjusted.
Residents with questions about the process or about which zone they live in can contact the City of Grants Pass Public Works office at 541-450-6110 for further information.
Street sweeping is a routine maintenance effort aimed at keeping roadways clear of debris, improving neighborhood appearance, and reducing pollutants that might otherwise wash into storm drains. By following the posted schedule and removing obstacles from the roadway, residents can help ensure that this service is carried out smoothly and effectively.
