One of my favorite things about doing food reviews is discovering places that take the extra step to make things from scratch. That’s exactly what I found during a recent visit to Trillium Bakery.
Located in Southern Oregon, Trillium Bakery has built a reputation for quality baked goods, and after my visit, it’s easy to understand why. Everything is made from scratch, and that attention to detail is evident in every bite.
For breakfast, I ordered the bakery’s breakfast sandwich, which features egg, ham, cheddar cheese, and a house-made English muffin.
The sandwich itself was excellent. The egg was cooked perfectly, the ham provided a savory balance, and the cheddar cheese tied everything together. However, the star of the meal was undoubtedly the English muffin.
