The City of Grants Pass Public Works Department announced the weekly schedule Sunday as part of its continuing street maintenance program. Streets included in the designated sweeping zones are expected to be serviced between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on their assigned day.
Residents whose neighborhoods fall within the scheduled zones are being asked to remove parked vehicles and trash cans from the street for the entire service period. Keeping curbside areas open gives sweeping equipment sufficient access to collect leaves, dirt, litter and other debris that accumulates along gutters and roadway edges.
