Last night, I found myself craving sushi and decided to stop by Koi Sushi to see what they had to offer. It turned out to be one of those visits that reminds me why I enjoy exploring local spots so much.
I ordered the Volcano Roll, a deep-fried shrimp roll topped with a spicy sauce, and right away I noticed the portion size. For less than $15, the roll was generous and well put together. It’s not always easy to find that kind of value, especially when it comes to sushi.
What stood out most was the balance of flavor and freshness. The shrimp had a nice crisp to it, the roll held together well, and the sauce added just enough heat without overpowering everything else. It was simple, but done right.
Another thing worth mentioning is that Koi Sushi offers more than just sushi. Their menu is broader than expected, which makes it a place you can return to and try something new each time.
Overall, it was a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of what they have to offer. Supporting local businesses like this is what keeps our community thriving, and spots like Koi Sushi make that easy to do.
