Seattle, WA, Apple has confirmed that versions of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 without blood oxygen features will be available for purchase starting January 18th at 9AM ET. However, due to an ongoing patent dispute with Masimo, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has denied extending a temporary halt on the Apple Watch ban. Although Apple has not officially commented on the matter, both Bloomberg and 9to5Mac report that the feature will no longer be available. The US Customs and Border Protection has approved this measure, allowing Apple to consider selling the banned products again after their sale was prohibited last year.
