The Asante Foundation is set to hold its third annual Walk for Hope on Saturday, October 5, at the Mary and Dick Heimann Cancer Center in Medford, Oregon. This free event celebrates cancer survivors, caregivers, and families with a 1.5-mile walk around Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 11 a.m. The event concludes with a celebration featuring live music from Rogue Suspects, local food trucks, and family-friendly activities.
Thanks to community philanthropy, the Heimann Cancer Center and the expanded Helen K. Spears Cancer Center in Grants Pass have served cancer patients over 400,000 times since opening in 2022. These centers provide a wide range of services, including imaging, treatments, and support like nutrition, massage therapy, and palliative care, all under one roof.
Asante’s Senior Vice President, Andrea Reeder, emphasized the community’s role in bringing this event to life, saying, “This is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of what we can achieve together.”
