Founded in 1963, Britt operates as a mission-driven, community-based arts organization serving audiences across Oregon. Its programming spans popular music, comedy, orchestral concerts and educational events, drawing approximately 100,000 visitors each year to the Britt Pavilion and its surrounding park and gardens. The Britt Festival Orchestra, established by founder John Trudeau, remains the longest-running component of the organization. The orchestra’s three-week summer season includes multiple full-orchestra performances as well as chamber, family and educational programming throughout the year. Norman Huynh will make his debut as music director in 2026.
Another lineup announcement is scheduled for March 13, with the possibility of additional individual shows revealed before and after that date. For many Oregon residents, the growing 2026 calendar signals not just another concert season, but a continuation of a decades-long tradition that blends world-class performance with the open-air beauty of a Southern Oregon summer.
