The Britt Music & Arts Festival has announced the first slate of performances for its 2026 Britt Live concert season, offering an early look at what organizers describe as a wide-ranging summer lineup that blends established legends, contemporary favorites, and a touch of comedy. The initial announcement, released Friday, marks the first of several planned reveals as the nonprofit arts organization builds toward another full season on the Britt hill in Jacksonville.
This opening group of concerts underscores Britt’s longstanding commitment to musical diversity and broad audience appeal. The 2026 season will include acclaimed singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt, Grammy-winning bluegrass and roots ensemble Alison Krauss & Union Station, and Icelandic rock band KALEO, whose blues-influenced sound has earned international recognition. Also scheduled to appear are genre-blending global ensemble Pink Martini and soul-driven crowd favorite The California Honeydrops.
Adding to the variety, Britt will host a co-headlining performance by Los Lobos and Los Lonely Boys, pairing two bands known for blending rock, blues, and Latin influences. The season will also feature a stand-up comedy performance by Jim Gaffigan, continuing Britt’s tradition of including non-musical programming that broadens the scope of its summer offerings.
According to festival leadership, the first announcement is intentionally designed to showcase the range of experiences audiences can expect in 2026, from intimate acoustic moments to high-energy evenings and large-scale productions. Organizers emphasized that Britt Live concerts are about more than the performers themselves, highlighting the unique outdoor setting and the sense of shared community that has become a hallmark of the venue.
As of this announcement, confirmed performance dates include Bonnie Raitt on June 3, KALEO on July 6, The California Honeydrops on July 17, Los Lobos and Los Lonely Boys on August 14, Alison Krauss and Union Station on August 25, Pink Martini on September 9, and Jim Gaffigan on September 30. Additional artists and dates are expected to be added as the season continues to take shape.
Ticket sales for the 2026 season are being released in phases, beginning with presales for Britt members at various donor levels, followed by general public sales opening January 30. Festival officials note that two more major lineup announcements are scheduled for mid-February and mid-March, with the possibility of individual shows being announced in between.
Britt Music & Arts Festival has been a cornerstone of Southern Oregon’s summer cultural calendar for decades, drawing audiences from across the region to its hillside amphitheater. More information about tickets, membership, and upcoming announcements is available through the Britt Box Office in Medford and on the festival’s official website.
