A colorful and hands on experience is coming to the Josephine County Fairgrounds as the Rogue Gem and Geology Club hosts its annual Gem and Mineral Show on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026. This two day event invites residents and visitors alike to explore the fascinating world of rocks, minerals, fossils, and handcrafted treasures, all in one place and with free admission.
Doors open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering plenty of time to browse, learn, and connect with local enthusiasts and vendors. Attendees can expect a wide variety of displays featuring rare minerals, polished stones, and unique geological finds, along with opportunities to purchase one of a kind items directly from knowledgeable vendors.
The event is designed with all ages in mind. A dedicated kids corner provides interactive activities to spark curiosity and creativity, while the fluorescent room offers a glowing look at minerals under special lighting that reveals hidden colors and patterns. Live demonstrations throughout the show give visitors a closer look at the techniques used in cutting, polishing, and preparing stones.
In addition to the exhibits, guests can enjoy a raffle, silent auction, and a selection of food options available on site. Whether you are a seasoned collector or simply looking for a fun and educational outing, the Gem and Mineral Show offers something for everyone.
