Spring is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate the season than by sprucing up your garden with fresh plants and unique botanicals? The Grants Pass Garden Club is hosting its much-anticipated Annual Plant Sale on April 26, offering a fantastic opportunity for gardeners of all levels to find quality plants and yard decor to enhance their outdoor spaces.
The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 119 Shire Lane in Colonial Valley, conveniently located off I-5 at Exit 61. This year’s event promises a wide range of plants, many of which have been carefully nurtured by the club’s dedicated members. Attendees will find an impressive selection of shade and sun-loving perennials, shrubs, and trees, all ideal for local growing conditions. In addition, a variety of vegetables and unique botanicals will be available for those looking to add some greenery to their home gardens or patios.
“We’ve been hard at work propagating plants and planting seeds over the past several months to ensure there’s something for everyone,” said Linda Demsher from the Garden Club. “Whether you’re looking to add some colorful flowers, low-maintenance shrubs, or specialty plants, you’ll find plenty of options to choose from.”
In addition to plants, the sale will feature a selection of beautiful container gardens, making it easy for shoppers to pick up ready-to-display arrangements for their yards or patios. Yard art and collectables will also be available, allowing customers to add a personal touch to their gardens and outdoor spaces.
This year, the event includes a delightful addition—a coffee and cookie snack table, providing attendees with a chance to relax and enjoy a treat while browsing the sale. It’s an opportunity to chat with fellow garden enthusiasts, share tips and ideas, and support the local gardening community.
The Grants Pass Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and proceeds from the sale go toward supporting its ongoing community projects, which include local beautification efforts, educational programs, and gardening scholarships. The club’s commitment to fostering a love of gardening and providing valuable resources to the community has made it a cherished organization in the area.
Shoppers will find that the Garden Club accepts a variety of payment methods, including cash, credit and debit cards, as well as checks, making it convenient for everyone to participate.
