This Thanksgiving, the Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission is once again opening its doors to the community, offering a free holiday meal to anyone in need. The event will be held on Thursday, November 28, from noon to 3 p.m. at the mission’s location, 540 SW Foundry Street.
This annual tradition provides not just a hearty meal, but also a sense of belonging and community for all who attend. The Thanksgiving meal is open to individuals and families, including those who may be facing challenges or simply looking to share the holiday with others.
“This is about more than just food,” a representative from the Gospel Rescue Mission shared. “We want to create a welcoming environment where everyone can feel cared for and supported, especially during the holidays.”
The menu is set to feature traditional Thanksgiving fare, including turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and seasonal sides, all prepared with the same care and attention that the mission applies to its ongoing work in the community. Volunteers and staff will be on hand to serve and ensure that each guest feels at home.
The Gospel Rescue Mission, a longtime advocate for the underserved population in Grants Pass, sees the meal as an opportunity to foster connection and show gratitude for the community it serves. Throughout the year, the mission provides critical services, including shelter, meals, and support programs for individuals and families in need.
This Thanksgiving, they invite everyone—whether in need of a meal or seeking to share in the spirit of the holiday—to join them for this special event. No reservations are required, and all are welcome to attend.
