The 21st Annual Art Along the Rogue Art and Music Festival is set to transform the streets of Grants Pass into a vibrant canvas this October 4th, 5th, and 6th. This beloved community event, which has grown to be one of the premier street chalk and music festivals in Oregon, is now accepting applications for volunteer artists.
Calling All Artists: Unleash Your Creativity on the Streets
Artists interested in participating can choose from a variety of 10×10 and 8×8 spaces to create their masterpieces on the pavement along 5th and H streets. This year’s theme, “Unsolved Mysteries,” offers a broad canvas for inspiration—whether it’s the elusive Bigfoot, the enigmatic Area 51, or the legendary D.B. Cooper, artists are encouraged to bring these and other mysteries to life through their chalk art.
Art Along the Rogue has been a staple in Grants Pass since its inception in 2003, attracting thousands of visitors each autumn. The event not only showcases the incredible talents of street chalk artists but also brings together musicians, vendors, and the local community for a weekend of art and entertainment.
Opportunities for Vendors and Sponsors
In addition to artist applications, the festival is also open for vendor and sponsor applications. With over 60 vendor spaces available, this event offers a unique opportunity for local businesses and organizations to connect with the community and visitors from across the region.

The festival will kick off on Friday, October 4th, from 5:30 PM to 9 PM, with events continuing on Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM and concluding on Sunday, October 6th, from 10 AM to 5:30 PM. Applications for artists, vendors, and sponsors will be accepted until 5 PM on September 8, 2024.
