As winter break approaches, families across the region are preparing for weeks of disrupted routines and energetic children home from school. Kids Club Northwest is stepping forward with a full slate of seasonal camps designed to provide a safe, engaging and festive environment for young participants while giving parents reliable daytime care during the holidays. This year’s programs offer themed activities, creative play and community connection at a time of year when many families need the extra support.
The Christmas Week Camp begins on December twenty second and continues on the twenty third and twenty sixth. This session carries the theme Jingle Bell Bash, setting the tone for a cheerful celebration of winter traditions. Children attending can expect a mix of hands on crafts, games and age appropriate activities built around the familiar sights and sounds of the holiday season. The goal is to give kids an enjoyable outlet for their excitement while helping them learn, socialize and stay active during the break.
Once the new year approaches, the New Year’s Week Camp opens its doors from December twenty ninth through the thirty first and resumes on January first and second. Sparkle and Shine serves as the theme for this session, encouraging creativity and imagination as children welcome the new year with bright projects and energetic fun. These camps are constructed to offer continuity for working families and to provide children with positive engagement throughout the holiday transition.
Kids Club Northwest will also operate special holiday hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon, giving parents additional flexibility at a time when many workplaces remain open. A Noon Years Eve Party will take place on December thirty first from ten in the morning until noon, offering children an opportunity to celebrate in a lively setting tailored just for them. This midday countdown allows families to enjoy a festive tradition without the late night schedule normally associated with the holiday.
The organization encourages early registration as space fills quickly during school breaks. By offering these camps, Kids Club Northwest continues its mission of supporting families with structured programs that keep children engaged, safe and eager to participate in seasonal traditions. For many local parents, these camps provide peace of mind and an opportunity for their children to enjoy a meaningful break filled with friendship, creativity and holiday joy.
