Letter to the editor:
Chris Barnett touts’ leadership and managerial expertise learned in the Air Force, yet he displayed a lack of leadership by refusing a Covid vaccine and was therefore separated or retired or resigned from the Air Forse Reserve for non-compliance. He proudly claimed this to the elections chair of the local democratic party, prior to a forum.
He should have been the first in line to set the example for the younger troops. Any military organization must maintain the highest level of readiness as possible both of war materiel as well as the health of personnel.
As a retired First Sergeant from the USAF, I’ve got to say that I am ashamed for this kind of “LEADERSHIP”. Furthermore, his self-refence as “COMMANDER” is as laughable as if I started to self-refer as “Field Marshall”. He shows NO leadership. His service history should be examined.
Is this the caliber of person we deserve in County government? Is this the caliber of person we need or want in such an elected position? Who is it that is paying for his campaign? Who is it that is so unaware, or uncaring, of the caliber of a candidate that they want him to join them on the County Commission? Grifter comes to mind.
