The upcoming 2025 to 2026 winter season at Mt. Ashland will introduce new lift ticket options, expanded operating days and reduced prices aimed at making the mountain more accessible to a wider range of skiers and snowboarders. As preparations continue for the start of winter recreation, today also marks the final opportunity for current and prospective visitors to pick up a season pass and be entered into a drawing for a fifty dollar Mt. Ashland gift card.
Mountain leadership has confirmed that the ticketing structure has been redesigned for the coming season in response to changing demand, ongoing community feedback and a sustained interest in providing multiple points of entry for those new to snow sports. One of the most notable additions is the Lower Lift Ticket, which offers access to beginner oriented terrain served by the First Act Learning Carpet, Sonnet, Lithia and the Comer chairlift. This option is tailored toward new and developing skiers and riders who want focused access to lower mountain terrain without purchasing an all mountain ticket, giving families and first time participants a more affordable and manageable path to outdoor recreation.
Another significant update involves weekday lift ticket pricing. Mt. Ashland has lowered the cost of the all mountain weekday ticket to fifty five dollars for adults and forty five dollars for children, reflecting a reduction of more than twenty three percent from last winter’s rates. The change is designed to encourage more weekday visits, reduce peak weekend congestion and create opportunities for local residents to enjoy the mountain at a lower cost.
In addition, weekday operations will expand for the first time in several years. The mountain plans to open on Wednesdays throughout January as part of a pilot program that will test demand, operational capacity and long term feasibility. If successful, expanded midweek access could become a permanent part of future winter seasons, potentially supporting local tourism, hospitality businesses and seasonal employment.
Community engagement remains a central part of Mt. Ashland’s winter messaging. Staff will be available at Growler Guys on November twenty second to answer questions, discuss pass options and celebrate the approaching season. Information regarding updated pricing, season passes and projected opening dates continues to be available through the mountain’s official channels.
As winter arrives in Southern Oregon, the mountain is preparing for another year of skiing, snowboarding and outdoor recreation. With new ticket structures, reduced weekday pricing and expanded operational days, Mt. Ashland is positioning itself for a broader and more diverse audience heading into the 2025 to 2026 season.
