The next General Meeting of PATH (Partners Assisting the Homeless) is set for Tuesday, July 22, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Grants Pass City Council Chambers. In response to feedback from members and community partners, the meeting will now include dedicated time for networking following the main session. The new format will run the core meeting from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., followed by a half-hour of open networking from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
This month’s featured speaker is Jeromy Ford of Pathways to Stability, who will present on the ongoing development of the Stepping Stones Stabilization Center. The initiative is a collaborative effort among local agencies and service providers, aimed at addressing homelessness in Josephine County. The center is being designed to offer immediate stabilization, critical support services, and transitional housing options for individuals experiencing homelessness.
The Stepping Stones Stabilization Center represents a significant step in the community’s approach to helping individuals move out of crisis and into more permanent housing situations. Ford is expected to provide updates on the project’s progress, share the vision for its long-term impact, and highlight how continued community partnerships are essential to its success.
In addition to Ford’s presentation, the meeting will also provide updates on PATH’s ongoing work, including efforts to coordinate services, improve resource access, and foster collaboration among local agencies working to end homelessness. Attendees will hear from a range of community partners who continue to make a difference through direct services, advocacy, and housing support programs.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support the Josephine County Food Bank. A donation box will be available at the meeting, and contributions are welcomed and appreciated.
PATH invites all community members, service providers, and stakeholders to attend and engage with the growing network of individuals and organizations committed to addressing homelessness in Grants Pass and the surrounding area. The meeting offers an opportunity not only to stay informed but to become directly involved in meaningful change.
For more information or questions about the upcoming meeting, PATH encourages individuals to reach out prior to the event. All are welcome to attend, learn, and connect.
