Rogue Community College is offering a structured leadership and supervisory training program this fall designed to help professionals strengthen their management skills and expand their capacity to lead within business, public service, and nonprofit environments.
The Supervisory and Leadership Bootcamp will be held at RCC’s Riverside Campus in Medford over three in-person sessions scheduled for October 28, November 4, and November 18. Each session runs from 2 to 5 p.m. The program costs $179 per participant, which includes all course materials. Registration remains open through October 22, and interested participants can sign up through the college’s official website.
The bootcamp has been developed to provide hands-on, practical training in essential areas of leadership that apply across multiple professional settings. Attendees will work through real-world scenarios designed to improve both confidence and competence in supervisory roles. Instruction will cover foundational leadership principles, the role of supervisors in organizational success, effective change management strategies, brand stewardship, recruitment approaches, team and performance management techniques, and employee development methods.
RCC’s business and workforce development team created the program to support both current managers seeking to refine their leadership abilities and emerging leaders preparing for greater responsibilities. The curriculum emphasizes practical application over theory, ensuring that participants leave with actionable strategies that can be immediately implemented within their organizations.
The college has structured the bootcamp to serve professionals from a wide range of industries. Public sector employees, nonprofit staff, and private business managers are all encouraged to participate. By bringing together individuals from different sectors, RCC aims to create an environment where participants can share experiences and learn from one another while developing their own leadership styles.
Community and Workforce Training at RCC frequently offers specialized courses and workshops designed to meet regional labor force needs. The leadership bootcamp reflects an ongoing commitment to workforce development in Southern Oregon, aligning educational opportunities with the needs of local employers and community organizations.
For more information about the program, prospective participants can contact RCC Community and Workforce Training at 541-956-7303 or visit the RCC Leadership Bootcamp webpage to complete their registration before the October 22 deadline. The college expects the workshop to attract a mix of professionals eager to advance their careers through enhanced leadership and supervisory skills.
