Starting November 1, 2024, the pedestrian bridge at Reinhart Volunteer Park in Grants Pass will be operating under new winter hours, affecting nighttime access. From November through February, the bridge will close daily from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This seasonal change aims to ensure safety and manage park maintenance during the colder months when daylight is shorter.
During the summer months, from March to October, the bridge will remain open later, with closures scheduled from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., offering extended evening access for park visitors. Community members are encouraged to plan accordingly and take note of these new seasonal hours to avoid any inconvenience.
