JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two men who went missing during a hunting trip over the weekend.
Donald Pratt, 71, and his son Eric Pratt, 39, embarked on a hunting excursion on Sunday, October 20, and have not been heard from since. Surveillance footage captured their vehicle heading toward the Illinois Valley, with authorities suspecting the men traveled up Lone Mountain Road in O’Brien. It is believed that they may be in the vicinity of the Sourdough Campground.
The father and son were driving a white Toyota pickup truck equipped with a white canopy, bearing Oregon license plate 267CZH. Search efforts are underway, but authorities are requesting any information that might help locate the pair or their vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have seen the Pratts or has any knowledge of their whereabouts to come forward. Those with information are asked to contact the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office at (541) 474-5123 and reference case number 24-25041.
