Adult film actress Stormy Daniels provided detailed testimony on Tuesday about her alleged encounter with former President Donald Trump in 2006, during a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. Daniels recounted the events in a conversational manner, describing the hotel room where she claims the incident took place.
During her testimony, Daniels vividly described the layout of Trump’s hotel room, from the black-and-white tile floor to the prominent mahogany table in the foyer. She also shared details about their dinner conversation, noting Trump’s unexpected interest in the business aspects of the adult film industry.
Daniels’ testimony included a moment where she playfully spanked Trump with one of his magazines, adding a touch of informality to her narrative. She then described an unexpected encounter upon exiting the bathroom, where she found Trump on the bed in his boxers and T-shirt, a situation she described as startling.
“I wasn’t expecting someone to be there, especially minus a lot of clothing,” Daniels testified.
However, Daniels clarified that Trump’s demeanor was not threatening when she discovered him on the bed. She further recounted that they engaged in sexual activity, stating, “I had my clothes and my shoes off. I removed my bra. We were in missionary position.”
Despite the colorful details presented by Daniels, Judge Juan Merchan intervened at times, cautioning against explicit descriptions that could prejudice the jury. Trump’s legal team subsequently argued for a mistrial due to what they deemed prejudicial statements, though the judge denied their request.
In addition to the personal details of the encounter, Daniels also touched upon Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen’s interest in acquiring her story after the release of the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape just before the 2016 election.
Stormy Daniels will continue her testimony when the trial reconvenes on Thursday, with Trump’s attorney expected to resume cross-examination. The trial remains a focal point of interest amid broader legal and political debates surrounding former President Trump and his alleged interactions with Daniels.
