Hearts With a Mission, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth and families in need, is gearing up for its highly anticipated Superhero Event on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The event will take place at Valley of the Rogue State Park, and organizers are calling for volunteers to help make the day a success.
This year’s Superhero Event promises to be a fun-filled day for participants of all ages, featuring a variety of activities ranging from exciting races to family-friendly games and entertainment. The event is a great opportunity for community members to come together and support the organization’s mission while enjoying a day of fun and engagement.
Volunteers are needed in several key areas to ensure that the event runs smoothly. The day will kick off early, with parking lot attendants needed at 6:30 AM to help direct guests as they arrive. There is also a need for volunteers to assist with setup starting at the same time, helping prepare the venue for the day’s activities.
As the race gets underway, water station attendants will be stationed along the route to keep participants hydrated, with these positions beginning at 7:00 AM. For those looking to help in a more interactive way, the event will feature a dunk tank, with facilitators and participants needed starting at 8:00 AM. Volunteers for the kids’ zone, which will include a bounce house, obstacle course, blow-up jousting, crafting activities, a photo booth, and face painting, will also be required starting at 8:00 AM.
At the end of the event, volunteers will be needed for tear down and cleanup, which will begin at 11:45 AM, ensuring that the park is returned to its original condition.
