(Mt. Ashland) – The forecast at the slopes is a mix of sun and snow. Today promises sunny skies with temperatures reaching around 42 degrees Fahrenheit, perfect for hitting the slopes. However, a storm is brewing, bringing with it the anticipation of 1 to 3 inches of snowfall tomorrow.
With the end of the season fast approaching, this week marks the final Monday (3/25) of operations. As we transition into April, visitors are advised to stay updated on the operating schedule for any changes.
Looking ahead to the weekend, another round of snowfall is expected, with forecasts predicting another 1 to 3 inches on Saturday. By Sunday, the sun is forecasted to make a reappearance, with temperatures hovering around 30-31 degrees Fahrenheit.
On the terrain front, all areas are open today, basking in the sunlight. However, with the incoming snow, Ski Patrol will be diligently assessing The Bowl each morning, conducting necessary avalanche mitigation measures.
For those seeking thrills in the terrain parks, Lower Juliet Terrain Park, West Dreams jump line, and the newly rebuilt Lower Left Tempest are set to provide the adrenaline rush throughout the week. Skiers and snowboarders are reminded to “PARK SMART” and adhere to safety guidelines.
