Grants Pass residents will have an opportunity to speak directly with local leaders at this month’s Council Community Connection, scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025. The event will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Lonely Pine Coffee, located at 130 SE G Street in downtown Grants Pass.
Mayor Clint Scherf and Councilor Indra Nicholas will be on hand to meet with community members in an informal setting. The monthly gathering is designed to encourage open conversation between elected officials and residents outside of formal City Council meetings. Participants are invited to bring their questions, raise concerns, or simply listen in on discussions about current issues affecting Grants Pass.
Community Connection events have become a regular fixture in the city’s outreach efforts, giving residents a chance to share their perspectives on topics such as local development, public safety, infrastructure, parks, and neighborhood concerns. The gatherings also allow city leaders to provide updates on ongoing projects and upcoming initiatives while hearing directly from those they represent.
No formal agenda is set for the meeting, allowing conversations to flow naturally and cover a wide range of topics. Attendees are welcome to purchase beverages from the café while they engage with the mayor, councilor, and fellow community members.
City officials encourage anyone interested in the future of Grants Pass to take advantage of this opportunity to participate in local government in a relaxed environment.
