President Josie Malloy Over the past six years, Josie has steered the Chamber towards substantial progress, fostering collaboration with various partners and uniting diverse voices to catalyze positive change within the community. A testament to her leadership, Josie spearheaded the creation of two impactful programs, the Young Professionals Network and Lemonade Day, aimed at cultivating future community leaders and engaging a younger audience. Membership and participation have flourished across all fronts, positioning the Chamber in a robust financial state.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve as President & CEO, Josie acknowledged the collective achievements made during her tenure. Despite the challenges encountered, she emphasized the rewarding experience of contributing to the vibrant Grants Pass community.
In her departure, Josie leaves the Chamber in a commendable state—financially stable, equipped with skilled staff, and guided by an effective board of directors committed to sustaining the Chamber’s positive momentum.
Josie, along with her family, will be relocating to Cheyenne, Wyoming, to be closer to their extended family.
The Chamber Board of Directors is set to initiate a search for a new President & CEO. Prioritizing a seamless transition, the Chamber aims to identify an individual who can uphold stability and efficacy. The upcoming job announcement will invite qualified candidates to contribute to the Chamber’s continued success, and the community is encouraged to participate in identifying suitable candidates for this pivotal role.
