Hello everyone, Chris Barnett here with my weekly report on recent visits across Josephine County. Today, I’m excited to shine a spotlight on another remarkable volunteer organization dedicated to supporting our youth: the Kiwanis Club International of Grants Pass.
Recently, I had the privilege of attending one of their meetings to gain deeper insights into their mission and the impact they’re making in our community. Kiwanis International brings together local groups of compassionate volunteers who share a common goal: to make a positive difference in the lives of children. Whether they’re friends, neighbors, or simply individuals passionate about serving, Kiwanians work together to create meaningful change.
It’s worth noting that Kiwanis is part of a broader global network of clubs, which also includes the Key Club. My own connection to this network runs deep, as my wife is actively involved in the Key Club, a student-led international service organization aimed at fostering leadership through community service. Key Club International serves as the high school branch of the Kiwanis International family.
Inspired by the passion and impactful work of Kiwanis and Key Club members, I’m eagerly awaiting to join this esteemed organization right here in Josephine County. If you’re searching for a way to contribute positively to our community, I urge you to consider joining the Kiwanis Club of Grants Pass. For more information, visit www.kiwanis.org. Together, let’s continue to make a difference in the lives of our youth.
