The City of Grants Pass has announced upcoming changes to its Finance Department customer service hours, a move intended to clarify availability while maintaining multiple payment options for residents and customers.
Beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Finance customer service counters will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding recognized holidays. City officials emphasized that while in-person service hours are being adjusted, residents will continue to have access to several convenient payment methods outside of those hours.
According to the City, payments may still be made at any time using the secure drop box located at City Hall. In addition, customers can submit payments through the City’s Interactive Voice Response system by calling the Customer Service line at 541-450-6035. These options ensure uninterrupted access for those who are unable to visit City Hall during regular business hours.
Online payment services also remain available and are encouraged for ease and efficiency. Through the City of Grants Pass website, users can pay a variety of bills generated by the City, including utility accounts, parking citations, and other general City charges. Customers should have their account information available when using these services, as utility payments require a customer account number and parking or citation payments require a citation number.

City officials recommend bookmarking these pages for quick access and to reduce the need for in-person transactions. The City noted that online payment portals are available 24 hours a day, providing flexibility for residents with varying schedules.
The City of Grants Pass encourages community members to plan ahead for the updated customer service hours and to take advantage of the multiple payment options designed to make the process as accessible as possible. Questions regarding billing or payment methods can still be directed to the Finance Department during regular business hours.
These changes are part of the City’s ongoing efforts to balance customer service availability with operational efficiency while ensuring residents continue to have reliable access to essential services.
