The City is now accepting applications for a position on its Sustainability and Energy Action Committee (SEAC) following a recent vacancy. This appointment will be for a term that extends through November 15, 2026.
The SEAC plays a crucial role in the city’s efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improve energy efficiency as part of its Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP). The committee is tasked with monitoring and reporting progress on SEAP implementation to the City Council. Additionally, it engages in community outreach, evaluates feasibility studies, and provides recommendations to advance sustainability projects in alignment with the city’s long-term environmental goals.
