Hello, everyone! It’s been a busy and fulfilling time for me as I’ve been out in Josephine County, connecting with wonderful people and hearing your concerns firsthand. This week, I had the pleasure of visiting the Williams Grange, where I had meaningful conversations with residents to understand what matters most to them. It’s clear that if elected, I’m committed to ensuring that Williams has a strong voice just like any other city in our county.
I also had the privilege of speaking on KAJO FM 99.7 and KAJO AM 1270 alongside fellow commissioner candidates. During our segment, each of us had the opportunity to share why we’re running and what our top priorities are. For me, it’s about addressing critical issues like homelessness, law enforcement, optimizing county departments to better serve you, fostering unity within our communities, and ensuring your voice is heard in decision-making processes. Public service is more than a duty for me; it’s my passion, and I am dedicated to protecting your rights and upholding the Constitution.
Another highlight was attending a commissioner candidate forum in Merlin, where I had a fantastic time meeting even more of our incredible citizens. On Friday, I joined Park Watch, a volunteer group dedicated to cleaning up our parks. We carried signs with messages such as “Keep Our Parks Safe,” “Parks Are for Kids,” and “Drug-Free Parks,” emphasizing the connection between homelessness and substance abuse. Addressing this issue is a priority for me, and I am committed to finding meaningful solutions.
Yesterday I attended the Josephine County Republicans Patriot Conference, surrounded by like-minded state and local candidates who share a passion for making a positive impact in our community. This annual event, held at the Josephine County Fairgrounds from 10 am to 6 pm, is an excellent opportunity to engage with fellow candidates and voters alike.
I am incredibly grateful to the citizens of Josephine County for entrusting me with the opportunity to serve as your next county commissioner. With the voters’ pamphlet recently distributed, I encourage everyone to take some time to learn about all the candidates and their visions for our county. Remember, ballots will be mailed out on May 1st. Let’s join hands and work together to make Josephine County an even better place for us all. Your vote is crucial, and I hope to earn your support!
