Josephine County Commissioner Dan DeYoung has announced his resignation, effective today, July 15. In a heartfelt statement, DeYoung cited personal reflection and family discussions as pivotal in his decision to step down from his role.
“This has been an incredibly tough decision for me,” DeYoung stated. “Over the past 18 months, I have come to realize that I am no longer able to contribute effectively to the well-being of this wonderful community.”
DeYoung expressed gratitude for the unwavering support he received during his tenure. “I wish the best for this county and the citizens I have proudly served for the past seven and a half years.”
