This October, the Mt. Ashland Ski Area will host its first-ever haunting event, combining the thrills of Halloween with the scenic beauty of the Siskiyou Summit. Running from Friday, October 18th through Sunday, October 20th, the “Haunting on Mt. Ashland” is sure to deliver both spine-tingling fun and family-friendly activities, setting the stage for a Halloween experience like no other.
Chairlift Trick-or-Treat
For families and younger visitors, the Chairlift Trick-or-Treat will be held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Guests are encouraged to don their best costumes as they ride the Sonnet Chairlift to explore a spooky but playful trail. Keep an eye out for Mt. Ashland’s friendly ghosts offering treats along the way. The adventure continues in the Mt. Ashland lodge, where fun activities for all ages will be available.
The Abyss
For those craving a more chilling experience, The Abyss will take place from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday through Sunday. This haunting experience takes brave participants on a chairlift ride deep into the eerie, dark forest where they will encounter the mountain’s most sinister spirits. This spine-tingling adventure promises to test the courage of even the most seasoned Halloween enthusiasts.
Festivities at the Lodge
Throughout the weekend, the Mt. Ashland lodge will host food trucks, music, and beverages, adding to the festive atmosphere. Whether guests are looking to indulge in delicious local fare or enjoy live entertainment, the lodge will be a hub of activity.

Ticket Information
Early Bird Tickets are available online through October 3rd, priced at $25 for those aged 13 and up, and $15 for ages 12 and under. General admission begins October 4th, with prices increasing to $35 for 13 and up and $25 for 12 and under. Walk-up admission will depend on ticket availability during event hours.
