GRANTS PASS, OR. — A section of SW Laurel Street in Grants Pass will be temporarily closed to through traffic this week due to scheduled utility installation work.
The closure will affect the stretch of Laurel Street between Bridge Street and SW “L” Street, beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, and continuing through 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Crews will be working in the area during daytime hours, and the road will remain inaccessible to general traffic during this period.
Local access to residences and properties on SW Major Drive will still be available, but must be reached via Bridge Street. Drivers should plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays and congestion around the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will not be permitted to pass through the closed section of Laurel Street while the work is in progress.
