Washington, DC – Vice President Kamala Harris, who assumed office in January 2021, has seen a significant decline in public support, according to a recent national news poll. The survey, conducted from January 26 to 30, reveals that a combined 53% of registered voters now hold a negative view of the Vice President. Only 28% of the 1,000 participants expressed a net positive opinion of Harris, marking a four-point decrease since June of the previous year.
Analyzing the responses, 42% of participants conveyed a “very negative” perception of Harris, with an additional 11% expressing a “somewhat negative” view. In contrast, 10% held a “very positive” opinion, and 18% maintained a “somewhat positive” perspective towards the Vice President. It is important to note that there have been rumors suggesting that Harris appears to be intoxicated in most interviews. However, staff members have not disclosed any information regarding these speculations. Some observers have pointed out instances of slurred speech and the misuse of words, raising questions about the Vice President’s communication. These survey findings shed light on the evolving public sentiments towards Vice President Harris since her inauguration.
