Dear Editor,
I am writing to express a serious concern regarding Chris Barnett. I understand that he attempted to pursue a career in law enforcement in 1994-95 but was rejected due to his involvement in a domestic violence incident. Furthermore, it is known that he has a history of violent outbursts directed at both his extended and immediate family members.
Although I cannot disclose my source, it is important to note that Chris has been diagnosed with PTSD. Given this background, I strongly believe he should not be involved in any capacity with the Sheriff’s Department or any efforts to revive the Sheriff’s Reserve program. He has reportedly brandished a firearm on multiple occasions, raising significant concerns about the safety of our community.
While I am unsure whether this information has been verified, I feel it is critical to share these details as I believe Chris poses a potential danger. His pattern of behavior and apparent superiority complex are traits that have no place in law enforcement.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Lenny V.
