On Thursday, January 25, 2024, the City of Grants Pass will convene a listening and learning session related to funding public safety. The session will begin at 6 PM in the City Council Chambers located at, 101 NE A Street in Grants Pass.
MEETING AGENDA
- City staff will present an overview of the issue, addressing why the City needs this funding and the various options that have been previously attempted.
- Staff will then present the options being considered: general sales tax and utility fee.
- Questions and Answers: Council and Staff will address Public Safety questions submitted in advance and submitted at the Forum.
- What does Council need to know: People in attendance will have an opportunity to provide brief verbal comments to the Council that will help them determine a solution to this issue.
