To the Editor,
Richard Chasm is running for the State Legislature to represent House District 4. Although I live in Roseburg and cannot vote for Richard, I want to express my support for him and encourage those in his district to vote for him.
Richard has shown unwavering dedication to his community, serving in many roles, including on the Watershed Council and with the Friends of Iverson Park. A remarkable individual, he has supported colleagues in previous elections but now seeks to represent rural communities in the House himself. Richard is passionate about key issues, including wildfire management, salmon restoration, support for working families, and backing our farms and ranches. His goal is to ensure rural Oregonians have a voice where decisions are made. “I have lived on the same parcel of timberland since I was 8 years old. I know the land of the 4th District and what it takes to live here,” he says.
I am confident Richard will listen to his constituents and be their voice in state government. I believe he will quickly become a respected member of the Legislature. Please consider supporting a committed, experienced candidate who genuinely wants to make a difference on your behalf.
Vote for Richard Chasm for State House District 4!
