Greetings from Josephine County!
I had the pleasure of attending two candidate forums this week, where a wide range of topics were discussed, including the proposed charter, law enforcement, budgetary concerns, homelessness, and drug-related issues. As a candidate, I recognize that while I am not yet in a position of authority, it is crucial to understand the concerns and priorities of our citizens. My goal is to represent their interests effectively and address the most pressing issues affecting our county.
On a lighter note, I had the opportunity to participate in and support the McCaslin Rodeo at the Josephine County Fairgrounds. If you haven’t experienced a rodeo before, it is a quintessential American entertainment suitable for all ages. The event was a resounding success, with sold-out crowds on both nights. Local food vendors, engaging displays, thrilling bull riding, bucking horses, and exciting barrel racing by skilled female riders provided a fun-filled atmosphere for everyone, including the children.
Furthermore, I participated in a 5k run at the Pear Blossom event with friends and later set up a booth at the Grants Pass Farmers Market, where I had the pleasure of meeting you and many other wonderful vendors. It is evident that our community spirit is alive and thriving, and we must continue to foster this positive environment to ensure the prosperity and well-being of Josephine County.
As we approach the election day, I invite you to join me on this journey. I look forward to meeting you on the campaign trail and encourage you to visit my website at www.VoteChrisBarnett.com or connect with me on Facebook.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Chris Barnett
